Highview’s trio of stallions have kicked off the 2023/24 racing season in winning style.

On Saturday, Divine Prophet’s star mare See You In Heaven resumed in spectacular fashion to win the G3 Behemoth Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville.

The four-year-old mare raced three wide without cover before cruising to an effortless one-and-a-quarter-length victory.

Trainers Richard and Chantelle Jolly confirmed that they have Group One aspirations for the mare this season with the G1 Empire Rose Stakes in Melbourne her target.

The win adds to a flurry of success for the progeny of Divine Prophet, who has had three wins already this season with Oracle Son and Prophet And Power also successful.

These wins follow four wins across four Australian states on the final two days of the 2022/23 racing season.  De la Rocha was successful in Victoria, Magic Prophet was successful in New South Wales, Scardimalia picked up the fourth win of his career, in Tasmania and Pray With You won in just his third start, in Western Australia.

Divine Prophet, who is new to Highview this season, had 118 runners for 45 individual winners of 75 races who earned a combined $3,353m in 2022/23.

“I realise it's not exactly comparing ‘apples with apples’,” Highview’s Brent Gillovic said. “But this would place him fourth in New Zealand on winners and also fourth on total wins behind only Savabeel, Proisir and Tavistock and second only to Proisir on earnings!”

A full brother to leading New Zealand sire Proisir, Divine Prophet’s best performers last season were Gr.2 Sandown Guineas winner See You In Heaven and dual Group Three placed, by the barest of margins, Soothsayer and Group Three placed Promitto.

“His biggest crop of foals to date, numbering 111 have just turned three-years-old,"Gillovic said. "So you would have to think he has plenty of upside here going forward. “

Meanwhile in Singapore, Divine Prophet’s barn mates Wrote and Santos have also had winners this season.

The Steven Burridge-trained, Winning Stride (Wrote) picked up the second win of his career and the Shane Baertschiger-trained Grand Sage (Santos) was successful at just his fourth appearance.

Wrote finished the 2022/23 racing season in fifth position on the leading third season sires’ by earnings list and Santos wrapped up the 2022/23 season in third position on the leading 2YO sires by earnings list.
